IRS Final Regulation Truncate SSN on Employees' Form W-2

The IRS final regulation that permit employers to voluntarily truncate employees' Social Security Numbers on copies of Forms W-2 that are furnished to employees after December 31, 2020.

Are there states that may require the full SSN to be printed on employees' state copies of Forms W-2, due to the State copies of Form W-2 are generally in the same envelope?
